Bought some spare parts for the big KTM a while back including a set of extra forks and when the stock forks started leaking I just simply swapped to the spare, finally got around to changing the fork seals in the stock set.

Checking out old bomb shelter

So a group of 6 brave motorcyclists set out on a quest to check out and old bomb shelter made to accommodate train carts carrying artillery.

KTM 950 Adventure Fork Seal Replacement

Tried a few times to use a feeler gauge and clean the seal and it work for a little while before oil started seeping out again. Have a spare set of fork legs so just swapped to them.

So they have been standing for some time in the garage and leaked just standing there.

Crash Bars

First some general talk about crash bars, some might call it unnecessary since the bike didn’t come with it.

KTM 950 Adventure Quick Water Pump Change

Bike has a little over 50 000 kms on the odo and have replaced the water pump once before.

But ended up having a flickering oil light, so suspected the water pump, but I did not have really good slurry in the CJ clear clutch cover:

KTM 950 Adventure Voltmeter Installation

Ordered a cheap dust and waterproof voltmeter on ebay.

Seen different ways to mount similar on www.advrider.com but wanted mine to be on the stock dash and since there is no room left I cut an aluminum bracket and riveted it to the top.

Midsummers weekend!

So this weekend was Swedish mid summer so friday was a work free day. But did some over time so kind of spoiled the weekend to do any kind of partying.

Motard Wheels for the KTM 950 Adventure

Spent quite a few hours during the long Swedish winter lacing up a set of motard wheels.

Was able to get hold of a set of rims a while ago, turned out the front had the wrong spoke pattern so ended up buying a brand new and 2 spoke kits from Woody.
